Table 2-3-2-1 shows the number of persons conclusively disposed in a court of first instance by the type of offense and judgment in 2010. By type of offense, theft accounted for the largest number in district courts at 12,277 (19.9%), followed by Stimulants Control Act violations at 10,846 (17.5%), violations of road traffic related acts at 7,770 (12.6%), and negligence in vehicle driving/negligence in the pursuit of social activities causing death or injury at 5,511 (8.9%). In summary courts theft accounted for the largest number at 7,983 (83.5%), followed by embezzlement (including embezzlement of lost property) at 265 (2.8%), injury at 249 (2.6%), and breaking into a residence at 245 (2.6%).
