Table 4-1-1-6 shows the number of juveniles cleared for non-traffic penal code offenses by type of offense and gender, and juvenile rate in 2009 (See Appendices 4-3, 4-4, and 4-5 and Appendix of Fig. 1-1-2-5). By type of offense the proportion for theft was the highest at 61.6%, followed by embezzlement (including embezzlement of lost property, etc.; hereinafter the same in this subsection). The juvenile rate was high for breaking into a residence, extortion, theft, damage to property, and embezzlement. The female rate of juveniles was high for fraud and theft.
