The elderly rate in 2006 to that in 1996 was about 1.8 times in the Republic of Korea, about 1.2 times in Germany, about 1.0 times in the U.S.A., and about 1.9 times in Japan. The rate per population (elderly) of persons cleared in 2006 to that in 1996 was about 1.8 times in the Republic of Korea, about 1.1 times in Germany, about 0.7 times in the U.S.A., and about 2.4 times in Japan. The rate of increase in the rate per population (elderly) of persons cleared was the highest in Japan. (2) Persons convicted The elderly rate of persons convicted in 2006 to that in 1996 was about 1.1 times in France, about 1.3 times in Germany, about 1.4 times in the U.K., about 1.0 times in the U.S.A., and about 1.5 times in Japan. The rate per population (elderly) of persons convicted in 2006 to that in 1996 was about 1.3 times in France, Germany, and the U.K., about 1.0 times in the U.S.A., and about 1.5 times in Japan. (3) Persons imprisoned The elderly rate of persons imprisoned in 2006 was significantly high in Japan at 12.3% when compared to other countries. The elderly rate in 2006 to that in 1996 was about 2.1 times in the Republic of Korea, about 1.8 times in France, about 1.7 times in the U.K., about 1.9 times in Germany, about 1.5 times in the U.S.A., and about 1.6 times in Japan. The rate per population (elderly) was the highest in Japan at about 25.0, but excluding the U.S.A. The rate per population (elderly) of persons convicted in 2006 to that in 1996 was about 1.3 times in the Republic of Korea, about 1.9 times in France, about 2.1 times in Germany, about 2.3 times in the U.K., and about 2.1 times in Japan. |
