Next, the attributes of the repeat homicide offenders are made clear by reviewing their criminal records (referring to prior convictions; hereinafter the same in this chapter), times of imprisonment, term of recidivism, etc., status of residence and employment, and violation/non-violation of regulations in penal institutions. Since those involved in Boryokudan should differ in characteristics from those uninvolved, a distinction is made between Boryokudan-related persons and the others for analysis.
