Section 4  Probation and Parole Supervision

Table 3-5-4-1 shows the percentage of prison parolees and offenders given suspension of execution of sentence with probationary supervision who were punished again by criminal dispositions due to repeating crimes during their probation among those whose probation was concluded (hereinafter referred to as the "re-punishment rate"), over the last 10 years.
The re-punishment rate has remained around 1% for prison parolees and around 35% for offenders given suspension of execution of sentence with probationary supervision and no significant change has been observed (for repeat offenses or repeat delinquency of juvenile probationers/parolees, see Part 4, Chapter 2, Section 6, 3 (2)).
