1 Prosecution/trial

The number of suspects (limited to non-traffic penal code offenses and special act offenses excluding violation of road traffic related acts) not prosecuted in public prosecutors offices due to insanity was 633 in 2011 (See Table 2-2-3-3). In addition, one person was found not guilty on the grounds of insanity in a court of first instance in 2011 (Source: The General Secretariat, Supreme Court).
