Table 2-3-2-1 shows the number of persons conclusively disposed in a court of first instance by type of offense and judgment in 2011. By type of offense, theft accounted for the largest number in district courts at 12,102 (21.2%), followed by Stimulants Control Act violations at 10,830 (19.0%), violations of road traffic related acts at 6,900 (12.1%), and negligence in vehicle driving/negligence in the pursuit of social activities causing death or injury at 5,234 (9.2%). In summary courts, theft accounted for the largest number at 7,332 (82.7%), followed by injury at 267 (3.0%), breaking into a residence at 251 (2.8%), and embezzlement (including embezzlement of lost property) at 226 (2.5%).
