2 Juveniles with a history of delinquency
Table 7-1-5-2 shows the number of cleared juveniles with a history of delinquency (juveniles previously cleared (guided by the police) for a delinquent act other than Road Traffic Act violations and who were then cleared again) and the rate of cleared juveniles with a history of delinquency (percentage of juveniles with a history of delinquency of juveniles cleared) of juveniles cleared for serious offenses in 2009, along with the rate of cleared juveniles with a history of delinquency of juveniles cleared between 1999 and 2008. The cumulative total for between 1999 and 2008 revealed that the rate of juveniles cleared for serious offenses with a history of delinquency was higher for every type of delinquency than that for non-traffic penal code offenses.
