5 Victim adviser system

  Advisers to victims have been assigned at district public prosecutors offices nationwide, and they are engaged in counseling victims, guiding or accompanying them to courts to observe proceedings, assist them in inspecting records, aid them in various procedures such as claims for return of evidence. They also implement support activities such as referring them to related institutions and organizations that provide mental/living/financial support according to their individual condition.
