3 Proportion of served sentence terms before parole

  Fig. 2-5-1-2 shows the proportion of served term of imprisonment sentence for a definite term before parole release in 2007, by repeat and non-repeat offenders and by sentence terms.
  In recent years, the percentage of those who are granted parole at earlier stages with the lower proportion of served sentence terms is on a decreasing trend. Compared to repeat offenders, a higher rate of non-repeat offenders were granted parole at earlier stages with the lower proportion of served sentence terms.
