Section 8  The Act for Partial Amendment to the Juvenile Act, etc.

  The Act for Partial Amendment to the Juvenile Act (Act No. 68 of 2007) , which was enacted on May 25, 2007, in light of the actual circumstances surrounding juvenile delinquencies, introduced the following to appropriately deal with such circumstances: [1] Procedures of investigation for cases related to juveniles of illegal behavior; [2] Availability of juvenile training schools for juveniles under the age of 14 years (and approximately aged 12 and over) upon the family court's recognition of the need; [3] Measures for events in which the conditions of supervision for a juvenile probationer/juvenile training school parolee are failed to be observed in order to make the guidance for those placed under probation/parole supervision more effective; [4] A system for a family court to assign ex officio an attendant who is a lawyer to a juvenile in certain serious cases where the juvenile is detained in a juvenile classification home.
  This act shall be enforced from November 1, 2009.
