The “Advisory Committee Seeking the Ideal Form of Rehabilitation” which consists of intellectuals commissioned by the Minister of Justice submitted “Recommendations on Reform of the Rehabilitation System - Aiming for Building Safe and Peaceful Country and Regions” to the Minister of Justice in June 2006, and recommended that the overall rehabilitation system should be fundamentally reexamined and reviewed in order to contribute to building safe and peaceful country and regions and to establish a rehabilitation system strong enough to meet the expectations of the people.
  The Ministry of Justice is assiduously advancing the rehabilitation system reform upon receiving the recommendations.
