Table 2-3-1-1 shows the number of defendants finally judged in the entire cases over the last ten years. The total number of defendants finally judged has been decreasing through the last 10 year since 2000 and was 738,240 (down by 5.7% from the previous year) in 2006. The number of persons who were found not guilty in 2006 was 82, and accounted for 0.01% of the total number of persons finally judged.
