2 Violations of the Child Welfare Act, etc.

  Fig. 1-2-2-2 shows the number of persons newly received by public prosecutors offices for violations of the Child Welfare Act (Act No. 164 of 1947), Act against Child Prostitution and Pornography, and Youth Protection Ordinance, over the last 10 years (see Appendix 1-4).
  Violations of the Act against Child Prostitution and Pornography, and the Youth Protection Ordinance have been on a rise recently, and Act against Child Prostitution and Pornography violations were the largest in number in 2006 after said Act was enforced in November 1999.
