This Act, which was put into force on September 19, 2006, contains the following so as to enhance probationary supervision for offenders given suspension of execution of sentence with probationary supervision: (1) when an offender given suspension of execution of sentence with probationary supervision intends to move or have a trip for seven days or longer, he/she shall obtain permission of the director of a probation office in advance; and (2) the director of a probation office shall specify special conditions of the probation for an offender given suspension of execution of sentence with probationary supervision, based on the opinions of the court which pronounced the sentence.
