Under the Act for Partial Amendment to the Juvenile Act, etc. (Act No. 142 of 2000), which came into force in April 2001, new procedures for juvenile cases were established in order to enhance consideration to victims.
  Table 5-2-1-4 shows the implementation of systems of inspection and copying of records of juvenile cases by victims, etc., hearing of opinions of victims, etc., and notification of the results of the judgment, all of which were newly introduced by said Act.
