Table 3-4-2-2 shows the number of mentally disabled persons (those recognized as having a mental disorder in the relevant institutions; hereinafter the same in this subsection) among those newly admitted to penal institutions and juveniles newly admitted to juvenile training schools in 2005.
  Those mentally disabled persons who need special treatment are admitted to medical prisons or medical juvenile training schools and receive necessary treatment.
