2 Disposition by public prosecutors offices

  Fig. 1-3-1-4 shows the percent ratio of persons finally disposed by public prosecutors in 2005 by type of disposition, for traffic offenses (referring to dangerous driving causing death or injury, negligence in the pursuit of social activities in traffic accidents, and violations of road traffic related acts; hereinafter the same in this Section) and general offenses (referring to penal code offenses excluding traffic offenses and special act offenses).
  The rate of indictment for dangerous driving causing death or injury was nearly 90%, while that of non-prosecution was high for negligence in the pursuit of social activities in traffic accidents and that of summary trial procedure was high for violations of road traffic related acts.

  Fig. 1-3-1-5 shows the percent ratio of persons who came under indictment for dangerous driving causing death or injury in 2005, by type of accident.
