In this section, concerning the globalization of offense and offenses by foreign nationals, we will outline emigration and immigration trends of foreign nationals, trends in offenses by visiting foreign nationals (all foreign nationals staying in Japan other than established residents (permanent residents, etc.), those connected with the U.S. forces serving in Japan and those whose status in Japan is unclear), and the treatment of foreign offenders.
