The Law concerning Measures Accompanying Criminal Proceedings to Protect Crime Victims, etc. , introduced a system of compromise in criminal proceedings for civil lawsuits. This enables the defendant and victim, etc. , in a criminal case to request jointly that any agreement reached between them in a civil lawsuit related to the criminal case be included in the protocol of the trial. Any such inclusion shall have the same effect as judicial compromise.
