This section describes the criminal punishment status of the research subjects. The analysis here is based on, according to the purpose, all criminal punishment (hereinafter referred to as “all criminal punishment”), criminal punishment with the heaviest penalty (hereinafter referred to as the “major criminal punishment”; here the heaviest penalty being imprisonment with or without work without suspension of execution of the sentence (hereinafter referred to as “imprisonment without suspension of execution of the sentence”), followed by imprisonment with or without work with suspension of execution of the sentence (hereinafter referred to as “imprisonment with suspension of execution of the sentence”), and then fine (no one was sentenced to fine with suspension of execution of the sentence)), and criminal punishment for which judgments were made final for the first time after the relevant discharge (hereinafter referred to the “first criminal punishment”).
