2 Preparation of penal statute reflecting changes in crime trends
A variety of new legislation is being introduced in regard to punishments of crime. Some important amendments of the Penal Code have also taken place to make a wider range of sentencing and dispositions reflecting the situation of the crime possible. The changes include tightening the penal provisions for violation of traffic related acts, preparation of penal statute, and review of statutory penalties in adapting to changes in crime trends.
