Section 3 Classification in Juvenile Classification Homes
Juvenile classification homes mainly accommodate juveniles who have received the decision of protective detention, and perform classifications of their predispositions based on expertise in medicine, psychology, pedagogy, sociology, and other specialized fields in order to contribute to investigations and hearings, etc. conducted by family courts.
As of April 1, 2009, there are 52 juvenile classification homes nationwide (including one branch home).
