Big Brothers and Sisters (BBS) associations are voluntary organizations of young people who assist juvenile delinquents and juveniles having troubles for their sound self development by relating to them as their older brothers or sisters. As of April 1, 2006, there were 556 BBS associations and 5,036 members (Source: The Rehabilitation Bureau, Ministry of Justice).
