Section3 CompensationforCrimeVictims

  The reparation of damage to crime victims and their families is by nature a civil liability to be assumed by the perpetrators as compensation for damage.However,the system to reduce the financial burden on crime victims is prescribed in the Law Concerning State Compensation for the Victims of Crime etc.(Law No.36of1980)and the Automobile Liability Insurance Law.There are other relief measures for crime victims under the provisions in the Law Concerning Compensation for Damage to Witness etc.(Law No.109of1958).
