Table 3-1-1-5 shows the trends of reported rapes and indecent assaults and their rate per100,000persons over the last10years since1994.Damage by rape has been increasing since1997both in number and rate per population.In2003,the number of indecent assault involving female victims was9,729,an increase of504over the previous year,and their rate per100,000persons was14.9,indicating a dramatic increase.
