Table 2-3-3-1 shows the number of defendants sentenced to death in the ordinary first instance over the last10years,by type of offense.Death penalties have been between10and19,including13in2003.Offenses subject to death penalty over the last10years were limited to homicide and robbery resulting in death(including homicide on the occasion of robbery,hereinafter the same in this section).In2003,the percentage of death penalty was1.2%for homicide and3.1%for robbery resulting in death(Source:Annual Report of Judicial Statistics and data by General Secretariat,Supreme Court).
