1 Defendants with a final judgment

  Table 2-3-1-1 shows the number of persons finally judged in all cases over the last 10 years, by judgment type.

  The number of persons finally judged has been decreasing since 2000 and was 530,293 (down 13.8% from the previous year) in 2008, which is less than half of the figure recorded in 1999. The number of persons found not guilty in 2008 was 84, accounting for 0.02% of the total number of persons finally judged.
