The theme of the special article,"treatment of offenders,"could include various points of issue.Consequently,we focused on the treatment of adult offenders * in order to avoid unnecessary diffusion.The issue of treatment for juveniles will be covered another time.From the same perspective,in discussing correctional treatment,we covered the contents of the treatment,such as attempts to encourage offenders to rehabilitate and attempts to reintegrate them into society but excluded discussion of medical care or the complaint system,although they are also important issues in this field.
