1 Trend of juvenile delinquency

  In France,in accordance with the criminal law,persons under the age of18when a crime was committed are regarded as juveniles(mineur)and are treated differently from adults(majeur).
  Fig.4-6-1-1 shows the number of persons cleared for criminal offenses(felony and misdemeanor excluding traffic crimes;hereinafter the same in this section)for juveniles and adults over the last ten years.
