9 Violations of rules and regulations

  Fig. 7-4-2-12 shows the percent ratio of repeat homicide offenders who violated the rules or regulations while imprisoned for their repeat cases.

  With Boryokudan offenders, the ratio of those with a violent disciplinary case of homicide or injury was high (44.8%). Looking at this in relation to the motives or causes for the repeat cases, it is found that, of Boryokudan offenders whose motives or causes for their repeat cases were “anger/strong emotion”, 61.1% committed a violent disciplinary case.
