Section 4  Probation and Parole

Table 7-2-4-1 shows the trend over the last ten years in the rate of persons who received criminal disposition for a repeat offense while under parole or under suspension of execution of sentence among those whose probation/parole supervision was terminated (hereinafter referred as “re-disposition rate” in this section).
Recently the re-disposition rate has been around 1% for parolees and around 35% for offenders with suspension of execution of sentence, with no real significant changes over recent years (in regard to repeat offenses and repeat delinquencies by juveniles under probation or under parole from juvenile training schools, see Part 4, Chapter 2, Section 6, 3(2)).
