Fig. IV-21 shows the suspended prosecution rate for traffic professional negligence and road traffic violation cases over the last10years, by gender(see Appendix IV-8 ). The suspended prosecution rate for men has remained within the20%and30%ranges. The rate for women, meanwhile, remained generally in the50%range until1995,but has declined slightly since 1996to the upper40%range.
